Year 10 Visit to Mercedes-Benz World – by Khaleel Ahmed, Jack Petchey Winner
Our Year 10 group had a fantastic visit last Tuesday to Mercedes-Benz World, where we explored a wide range of vehicles, from AMG perfomance cars to luxury Maybachs. We also used driving simulators, watched presentations on the history of Mercedes-Benz and motorsport, and saw Formula 1 cars up close, which gave us a real insight into their engineering and design.
I organised the trip over several months alongside my schoolwork, which helped me build confidence, organisation, and determination. My main aim was to give students and staff an enjoyable and memorable experience, and seeing everyone engaged and smiling made all the hard work worthwhile. I would like to thank the staff who supported me throughout the planning process and the students for taking part and making the day such a success.
