To mark this year's Mental Health Awareness Week, from Monday 15 May to Sunday 21 May 2023, mental health charity MIND hosted an exciting event on the Monday 15 May 2023 to create awareness around mental health.
We are proud to say that as one of HFEH Mind young advisors, Year 10 Johnson’s Alistair was invited to attend this exciting event.
HFEH Mind Young Voice is a group of young people aged between 10 and 19, who have either accessed the service in the past and/or have experience of other mental health services and/or have an interest in mental health more generally. Young advisors actively volunteer their time to develop HFEH Mind with monthly panel meetings, focus groups, online surveys, content development, interview panels and more!
The event will involved a private screening of the Guardians of the Galaxies vol 3 at the Ealing Project Cinema. On the day there was a very special surprise guest appearance from HFEH Mind Ambassador and actor Will Poulter! Who was a guest alongside Shadow Minister for Mental health Dr Rosena Allin-Khan.
Well done Alistair for the work you have been doing providing vital support to young people, and for helping to raise awareness of mental health!
