On the 5th & 7th March we played a series against St Andrew the Apostle for both the year 11 and year 9/10 Basketball teams.
Year 11 team recorded a 13-12 victory in an epic game which saw both teams display some fantastic skills and baskets. The score reflects the close nature of the competition, and this made for an excellent contest. Maksim was Pioneers top scorer with 6 points in an impressive personal performance.
The year 9/10 team recorded a 22-9 victory in an impressive team display. All 10 players contributed to an excellent performance and is credit to the dedication these boys are showing to training and practice throughout this term. Ronnie and Andreja were the teams’ best points scorers and took a joint MVP award.
