Last week our Year 10 netball team travelled to Ashmole School to compete in a triangular fixture against Ashmole and TTA. It was a fantastic afternoon of netball and a great opportunity for the team to get their season underway.
The girls demonstrated excellent teamwork, communication and determination throughout both matches, showing many of the skills and tactics that have been developed in training. Despite facing strong opposition, the team worked tirelessly in attack and defence, moving the ball confidently through the court and supporting one another throughout.
There were many standout performances across the squad, with players displaying resilience, sportsmanship and a positive attitude from start to finish. The fixture also provided valuable experience that the team can build on as the season progresses.
A special congratulations goes to Teya, who was deservedly named Player of the Match for her outstanding contribution, work rate and impact on court.
Well done to all the players who represented the school so positively. We look forward to seeing the team's continued development over the rest of the season.
