Will it rain or not was the question on everyone’s mind this Summer Fayre – but we were super happy when the clouds stayed white and the sun peeped out! With smiles on our faces, we were able to enjoy the delicious food, have fun on the stalls and appreciate the glorious music. From battles on the sumo stalls to glitter and henna tattoos, posing at the photobooth to shooting hoops – we were entertained all afternoon!
A special thank you to all our parent and local community volunteers who provided us with our wonderful arts and crafts stalls, sweet and spicy stalls and brilliant international street food. We gathered at the end to see the very talented rapping science teacher who provided us with lots of explosive experiments and superb science raps. We then ended with the hotly anticipated raffles.
All the money raised at this event will go towards our high aspirations pillar – for more trips to take place so that pupils can learn and explore outside the curriculum. We are still totaling the fundraising and will share before the end of term.
