Students represented their tutor groups in a wide range of activities including football, basketball, netball, tug of war and athletics. Throughout both days, the atmosphere was outstanding, with students cheering on their teammates, celebrating success and demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship.
While previous Sports Days have been held at StoneX Stadium, hosting the event at school allowed us to offer a much wider range of activities. This meant that more students than ever were able to participate and contribute to their tutor group's success. Participation rates across all year groups were extremely high, helping to create a vibrant and inclusive event where everyone could get involved.
There were some stunning performances across every sport. From thrilling athletics races and fiercely contested team games to dramatic tug of war battles, students consistently demonstrated determination, resilience and teamwork.
Staff were particularly impressed by how tutor groups worked together throughout the event, encouraging one another and displaying incredible team spirit.
A huge thank you goes to all students, staff and student leaders who helped make the two days such a success. Sports Day remains a highlight of the school calendar and a fantastic celebration of effort, participation and community.
