On Friday 3rd February Year 7 spent a day in the biggest, most important modern and contemporary art space in London, the Tate Modern gallery.
Students had a fantastic time exploring the grand industrial spaces, drawing, engaging in discussion and studying the galleries' vast collection. The displays featured a staggering range of work from gritty oil paintings by Jean Dubuffet to a huge yet ethereal sculptural installation by Cecilia Vicuña.
Well done Year 7 and a big thank you to all staff who made it possible.
Mr Critchley, Head of Art & Design
