Pioneer win gold in Ark's annual Badminton Championships

Ark’s inaugural KS3 Badminton Championships provided students with the opportunity to play and develop their badminton skills in a competitive atmosphere.

Ark Pioneer performed brilliantly, and beyond their near-perfect scores, showed true sportsmanship, determination and integrity while competing. 

Ark Pioneer won gold in each year group division! 

Year 7s beat Ark Globe in the final by 4-0 matches, dropping only one match en-route (in the semi-finals)

Year 8s beat Ark Elvin in the final by 3-1 matches, dropping only one match in the final playoffs 

Year 9s beat Ark Elvin in the final by 4-0 matches, with an undefeated streak!

Mr Mogaji was extremely impressed with the level of Badminton skill which is testament to their involvement in after-school clubs, enthusiasm during P.E. and extra practice dedicated to building team camaraderie and understanding the sport.
