Last Friday our pupils got to experience the magic of the wizarding world on a library leaders rewards trip to The Harry Potter Studios.
Our library leaders, who volunteer in the library with Mrs Jennings, are big fans of the Harry Potter books, so it was a joy for all to see how these famous books transform to the screen. And our Year 8 pupils, who are reading the Philosopher’s Stone with Ms Butler-Hardy, enjoyed learning more about the film series.
All pupils were inspired by the extraordinary artwork on display, the vast sets, magical creatures and even Number 4, Privet Drive.
Pioneer Pupils had the chance to pose for many excellent photo opportunities and enjoyed a Butter Beer.
Ms Jennings hopes that that our pupils continue to be inspired by the story of Harry Potter and start to explore the many opportunities in the UK creative industries.
