On Wednesday 28th February, Ark Pioneer took part in the Ark Indoor Athletics championships for year 7 and 8 at Lee valley Sports Centre.
The event was hugely successful and allowed our pupils the opportunity to represent the school in a world class sporting venue against all the other Ark Schools within the network!
The girls team managed to secure 6th place and the boys team got the on the podium with a 3rd place finish! Some special individual performances from Eddie in the 800m, Alex in the Shot put and Erykah in the 200m getting top 3 finishes in their individual events! We look forward to the summer term and watching the athletics teams compete and flourish in the various Barnet and Ark Athletics events!
