Year 11 historians enjoyed a walking tour of Notting Hill, looking at the legacy of Caribbean migration in the area.

Pupils were able to find the blue plaques dedicated to the founders of Notting Hill carnival and see where the Mangrove restaurant was – which led to the famous trial of the Mangrove Nine!

Pupils also enjoyed walking through Portobello Road market and enjoy the continued celebration of Caribbean culture – huge well done to Year 11 who received several compliments from the local residents on their excellent behaviour!
