Pupils in German city

Year 12 are back from a fantastic trip to Cologne. The trip was jammed packed with culture and adventure.

Day 1 was full of exploring the city of Cologne. With it's gothic cathedral and quaint old town it was a great place to start their German adventure. Many students took the opportunity to sample local dishes and pop into a few shops for souvenirs.

The afternoon we visited the Lindt Museum with it's enticing chocolate fountain and challenged themselves to beat world records at the Sports Museum.

Day two we headed to forest adventure and saw all students swinging from the sky's on a long zip wire across the forest.

After a few had been rescued from the trees, we headed to Koblenz and took the cable car up to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. This journey saw us crossing the Rhine and seeing the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle.

The evening was finished off with bowling and pool. Just before bed, celebration and certificates were given to students that really stood out on the trip.

A fantastic opportunity and can't wait to see what Germany 2026 has in store.
