Pupils at Ark Pioneer Academy in High Barnet are celebrating another strong set of GCSE results in 2026, marking the school’s third consecutive year of successful outcomes.
This year, 76% of students achieved grades 9-4 in English and Maths, and 60% achieved grades 9-5. From their Key Stage 2 starting points, Ark Pioneer pupils are, on average, making half a grade more progress than their peers nationally, while attainment remains strong.
These results reflect sustained academic strength across the Outstanding-rated school, and leave pupils well placed for their next steps – including study at Ark Pioneer’s Sixth Form, which has already established a strong record of success.
Individual successes included:
- Six students achieved 11 grades at 7-9, with outstanding performances from Eliza Martyn, Thomas Majithia, Oskar Bednarz, Isabella Majithia, Adam Ahmed and Leen Al Hammadi.
- Eliza Martyn achieved an exceptional 9 grade 9s and 11 grades at 7-9.
- Thomas Majithia achieved an impressive 8 grade 9s and 11 grades at 7-9.
Principal, Su Reddy said: “We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 pupils and the exceptional results they have achieved. As our third GCSE cohort, they have built on Ark Pioneer’s strong record of success and shown what is possible through ambition, resilience and hard work. They have been a wonderful year group, embodying our school values every step of the way.
“These outcomes are a testament to our pupils, their families and the dedicated staff who have supported them throughout their journey. We are delighted that so many pupils will now continue their education at our Sixth Form.”
