On Tuesday night we were very proud of our pupils’ performance at the Ark Music Scholarship showcase and celebration of diversity.
Naomi from 9 Mandela and Gavin from 10 Rashford have been scholars on the music programme since February 2022. The Ark Music scholarship pilot has supported some of the keenest young musicians from across the Ark schools’ network, providing opportunities for young people to explore their musical interests, work with diverse music practitioners and attend a variety of inspiring music events. Scholars have collaborated over the last few months to design and plan their showcase evening.
Both Naomi and Gavin performed so well and shared their reflections on their time as music scholars.
