The UCAS Clearing process helps students find university courses if they are not offered a place from either their firm or insurance choices or if they choose to decline their offers and want to apply for a different course.
The majority of courses will become available on A Level and BTEC results day (13th August). Members of the Sixth Form team will be on site to support Y13 students through the Clearing process. However, universities start listing vacancies from the 2nd of July on the UCAS Clearing portal which students can access using their UCAS login.
If your child is concerned that they might not get the grades needed for their firm and insurance choices or if they have changed their minds about which course or university they would like to apply for, we recommend they check the UCAS Clearing portal regularly between the 2nd July and results day and start shortlisting potential options.
If you have any questions about the UCAS Clearing process, please contact sixthform@arkpioneer.org.
