Ark Pioneer Summer Fayre
We are very excited to be hosting our annual Summer Fayre on Friday 12th July at Ark Pioneer Academy to celebrate the end of our fifth year of opening, our first cohort of GCSE’s and our outstanding OFSTED result! Our doors will be open from 2pm to all the Ark Pioneer and local community – we want you all there where you will see inflatables, arts and craft stalls, music entertainment, international street food, popcorn, candyfloss and ice cream treats, Pimms for adults, tombola, sport competitions, raffles and so much more!
Entry to the Ark Pioneer Summer Fayre will be £1 for adults and completely FREE for under 18s. You can pay for all activities and stalls on the day with cash or card.
Please enter via our pedestrian entrance on Barnet Lane, near the intersection with Westcome Drive.

Sponsorship
If you own your own company and would like to sponsor the summer fayre then we can advertise your company through:
- School website
- School newsletter to all our families
- Leaflets to the local community
The sponsored money will be used for activities and things we require for the day – and any left over money will be added to the total raised for the summer fayre.
Stalls
We would love to host outside stalls for a small pitch fee, whether that be homemade arts and crafts, food stalls or a service you provide.
We are also looking for a group of parents who would be keen to support in running a henna stall, caricature stall and face painting stall where proceeds go back to Ark Pioneer Academy.

- AY&I Creations - We make beautiful handmade products, DIY craft kits and run craft workshops for kids aged 3-10 years. We integrate a fun cultural craft experience in all our workshops and our crafts. Our ethos is learning through craft and play and making it a beautiful experience for each child.
- DeityTara Resin - DeityTara Resin is designed and lovingly handmade in Hertfordshire by a small family business (mum & daughter team). We combine various forms, colours and adornments to create something truly ethereal and unique. Each piece exists only once. Stylish, unique and affordable.
- Sew Knitty Natty - Specialising in sewing, knitting, crotchet, art and craft. Craft artwork, cards, jewellery and accessories. Sewing tuition available for children aged 8+ and adults.
- Grow Farm - They are an Agroecological Farm and Outdoor Learning Hub where we grow vegetables, fruits and flowers.
Food and Drinks Stall
We would love to start organising the food and drinks stall led by our parents early this year. If you think you are able to support through donations or on the day please let me know.
Match-Fund
If you work for an organisation that has a match funding policy, any money you raise could be matched by your employer. Companies may match the fundraising total for an event, or for the stall that their employee is working on. After the summer fayre, we will provide you with a letter detailing the date and nature of the event, together with the total raised.
We understand that the high street banks, building societies, supermarkets and large corporations are likely to do match funding, but these schemes are not exclusive to the major corporate giants. If you work for an independent company, they may be interested in charitable giving through match funding too.
We would be grateful if you could see if your employer has a match funding scheme, or if they are willing to match fund our Summer Fayre alongside any of our other future events.
Raffles and Donations
Any unwanted Christmas gifts, donations from own business/employer companies would be appreciated early on. However, please do not give us nut free products or perishable goods that will go off before Friday 12th July.
