Year 9 were lucky enough to visit Canterbury Christchurch this week for an experience of university first-hand.
Pupils were met by student ambassadors, who gave an introduction to university life. This was followed by a session called "Money Matters" where they engaged in interactive games teaching them about managing finances while being at university. They also enjoyed a session on post-16 and higher education options and a tour of the campus.
Despite the unseasonal weather, year 9 had a fantastic day and staff at the university commented on how polite and engaged our pupils were.
