Yesterday was a very special day for us mathematicians – a day where we celebrated all things PI!
We hosted a Pi-Pie Eating challenge where pupils raced to answer questions related to circles and pi and then had to eat a pie without using their hands! Well done to both Wahiz (7 Farah) and Faris (9 Turing) for being the Pi-Pie Winners!
Further to this, Charlie Devlin (7 Angelou) was able to recite pi to an amazing 66 digits! He has promised to come back to me by the end of the week and improve on this number! Charlie can you reach 100 digits?
