On Thursday 28^th April Miss Paterson and Mr Carruthers took ten Year 7 girls and boys to represent Ark Pioneer at an Ark Network football tournament. Having had league and cup games against local Barnet schools – the boys team looked to challenge themselves against other Ark schools and went with lots of optimism of success. They performed very well, ending up 3^rd out of 12 Ark schools. A fantastic achievement, with all players showcasing Pioneer values, whilst also competing to a competitive and high standard.

The girl’s team were set for their first competitive football competition, having trained during the Spring Term with Mr Carruthers and Mr Mehta. The girls also performed well, and Miss Paterson was thoroughly impressed with how they adapted and grew into the competitive environment. The girls team finished 5^th out of 10 teams.

A huge well done to all pupils that represented Ark Pioneer so professionally.

Boys team – Edrise, Soma, Axi, Kuba, Luke, Amar, Prince, Moses, James, and Reece.

Girls team – Iness S, Innes K, Karen, Gracie, Layla F, Zoya, Gabriella, Sienna and Sumaya.
