Pupils' September Successes!

Friday 24 September 2021

We've been thrilled at how pupils have returned this autumn term, full of enthusiasm, excitement to see friends and get stuck back into learning!

Pupils in each year group enjoyed two days of induction to start the year, where they revisited our vision for every child that joins us and the values that matter to our community (Aim High, Be kind, Model determination and Have integrity). Pupils also learnt about their homegroup namesake and their personal story. They all spent time revisiting key routines to be really successful at school.

Our newest year group made a wonderful impression on everyone with their friendly smiles and positive spirit.

Pupils have since started lessons and settled into school life, finding their way around new classrooms and spaces in use and getting to know eachother and new members of staff. Enrichment kicked off in the first week and pupils have enjoyed an exciting offer in the autumn term (read more about what pupils enjoy during enrichment here: https://arkpioneer.org/enrichment)

We were also extremely proud of our Pupil Ambassadors who supported subjects and led tours around our building to a whopping 1,600 visitors. We know from the feedback verbally and the emails received after that they really did us proud. We look forward to more oppoortunities to shine in the Pupil Council elections and activities through the rest of this half term!
