Ark Athletics Championships

On Wednesday 8th June, Mr Russell, Ms Paterson and Mr Mogaji took twenty-six year 7 and 8 boys and girls to the inaugural Ark Track & Field Championship at Croydon athletics arena. The event included 18 Ark schools from the network and Pioneer finished in 3rd place for the girl’s event and 5th place for the boy’s event! Special mention to Christian who won the Boys Discus and is now the Ark championship record holder!
A huge well done to all pupils who competed, there was several great performances throughout the day and the student’s behaviour was a credit to Ark Pioneer.
Junior Boys team- Kamari, Gabes, Treasure, Ifeanyi, Marco, Christian, Prince, Reece, Jalil, Edrise, Luke, Alex and Axi
Junior Girls team- Ruby, Evie, Shannon, Shania, Naomi, Farah, Ella Beatrice, Chloe, Karen, Gabriela and Elsa.
